This photo was taken before the ceremony when I took a few photos of the bride's family. I noticed that the bride's father was very thin and weak and maybe suffering from an illness. So I had the feeling that the "normal" family photos are not enough and I wanted some more of the two engaging with each other. When I asked the father to give his daughter a kiss it wasn't for the camera but for them. You could see that this was a real moment between them. Shortly after the wedding the bride wrote me that her father passed away due to cancer and that she will treasure that photo for a lifetime. Her father also had made it his facebook profile photo which will now stay there as such until facebook shuts down.
