Another destination couple. Vero & Rafa flew me out from London to OBX, US for their engagement session. This was January, on a beach, on the snow! After a fabulous sunset we sat down for a beer and it began to snow. The flakes were getting huge so I thought I'd try back lighting them. Everyone backlights rain, why not snow I thought. So a quick minute later once everything was set up I took them out onto the deck and we shot a few frames. Vero & Rafa are from Mexico so I thought I'd use green and red gels. The key light was another speedlight (no gel) in a small Lastolite gridded softbox. I almost fell over when I looked at the back of the camera! BOOM!! You got snow, no problem!
