Annabel & Graham in my home city of Cambridge, UK. I've shot couples in these streets dozens of times and it's always a challenge to keep it fresh and different. I got them to stand next to a nice textured wall and positioned my assistant with a speedlite on a stick just out of shot. The flash was gelled 1/2 CTO to add some warmth. I then noticed a line of teenagers walking on the other side of the road and ran over, crouched down and started shooting. I took a gamble on this shot. It wasn't what I was going to shoot initially but I reacted to what was happening around me and took a chance.
I love the perspective of this shot and the eye contact from the guy on the left. The moment Annabel & Graham are having, laughing at me running around wondering what i was doing lying down on the path on the other side of the road.
